Get To Know: Jake
I was born on a snowy December day in downtown Saint Paul at United Hospital. My family moved around a bit and we lived it 3 different houses in the north metro through second grade. We moved out of state after that and spent time in Charlotte, NC and Chicago, IL before attending high school in Indianapolis, IN. In high school I spent most of my free time playing sports. Upon graduation I attended the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul where I studied Entrepreneurship. It was in college where I also met a wonderful woman and fell madly in love. Happily ever after? Hardly! She was a Bennie from the arch rival school Saint Johns and worse yet came from a family of Johnnies! Luckily, love won out and we were able to put the age old rivalry behind us and were married in Mexico in February of 2012. Since then we have been fortunate enough to add two black lab rescues and three wonderful boys to our family. Leo born 2013, Max born 2015 and Ike born 2017. In my free time I still enjoy sports of all kinds including wakeboarding, golf, hunting/fishing, snow skiing and football. Often in the fall we can be found around a campfire making s’mores or tailgating a football game. I have recently started to learn the art of smoking meat and enjoy cooking for our family.
